Dental Payment Administration Systems (DPAS) provides a service to dentists and dental practices that enables them to offer practice-branded payment plans to their patients.

DPAS previously ran an application based on Microsoft Access to manage the administrative functions such as BACS collections and customer maintenance.

Practices could administer their own patients, but only by running a full version of the application locally, and periodically uploading a new data file to the central offices to keep the two systems synchronised.

The new system administers over 100,000 patient records and includes the ability for remote practices to administer their own patients online, removing the need for separate data storage.
